2023 Pathways to Knowledge: Nurse Educator Conference - Call for Poster Abstracts

Thank you for your interest in submitting an abstract for the 2023 Pathways to Knowledge: Nurse Educator Conference being held April 28, 2023. Authors must register for the conference to present their poster presentations. Deadline for submission is April 14, 2023. Notifications regarding acceptance of submitted abstracts will be emailed by April 19, 2023.

Who Should Submit an Abstract

We invite researchers and clinicians at all levels to submit abstracts on nursing professional development and education, improvement projects with positive outcomes, lessons learned and return on investment.

Presentation Types

Poster presentation (Posters can be presented by PDF or PowerPoint slide. Presenters will offer 5-minute presentations detailing poster findings. Details and support for presentation logistics will be provided following acceptance of application.)

What to Submit

Abstracts should include the headings listed below, and please keep abstract content as concise as possible.

Title
Purpose: (Include PICO components in the statement)
Background (Why this project is important to disseminate)
Methods
Results/Findings
Conclusions and implications for practice (Summarize how the findings will be used in practice.)
References (APA format)

Review and Judging Process

Abstracts will be reviewed by the Selection Committee and evaluated based on:

In addition to displaying posters virtually, we would like to provide some poster presenters with an opportunity to share an oral overview of their work. These presenters will have about 5 minutes to present to all conference participants. Participants may also be able to dialogue with poster presenters during a virtual Meet & Greet session.
