The purpose of this form is to solicit a Letter of Intent to apply for the Wright Center K12 Mentored Career Development Award.

The Wright Center K12 Mentored Career Development Award is a two-year award funded by the National Center for Advancing Translational Science (NCATS) and VCU's Wright Center for Clinical and Translational Research. The K12 award is designed to provide talented junior faculty investigators with mentored, research-intensive experience in a multidisciplinary setting, enabling the development of future leaders in clinical and translational research. The Wright Center engages with a diverse pool of faculty mentors and mentees across a range of disciplines to approach science through a "disease-agnostic" translational lens.

One (1) Wright Center K12 award will be funded in this cycle. The applicant's administrative units (Departments, Divisions, and/or Programs) must commit to ensuring that successful applicants have at least 75% of the time available for research and career development.

Applicants are required to submit a letter of intent, which will be used to select candidates who will be invited to complete a full application. Letters of Intent can be submitted up to March 3, 2025, at Noon EST.
